Just when you hit the Post Quick Reply button....

...It says you aren't logged in. Then you log in, and then the thread is not specified. Then you back to try to resubmit your post, but whatever you originally typed is all gone.

Does this happen to anybody? I assume CC automatically logged me out due to inactivity, but actually all I'm doing is typing up a long post. How can I stop this from happening? I guess I just have to type faster and shorter so that they don't think I'm inactive. Thanks.

It happens to me. That's why I always make sure I've hit ctrl+a and then ctrl+c after typing up each post. If it does get deleted, I can just hit ctrl+v and I still have it.

Be sure you have cookies enabled and you click "remember me" when you log in. You shouldn't get timed out ever if those two things are OK, even if you take a while to write a post. More info here: Issues Logging in/out/getting logged off of the CC site.
