Very odd... what time of day (let's use Eastern for consistency) did these issues occur? What was the symptom - site slow, page not found, server not found? Thanks for any input. Other than a couple of reboots (under 10 minutes) and a wee-hours network outage of similar duration, we aren't seeing this issue.

Sometimes weird things can happen in specific geographic areas due to routing issues.

Something definitly wrong last two days mostly morning, server not found. Also when I log in, write a comment and go to post I am told I'm not logged in and won't let me post. Although it clearly says Im logged in. Frustrating although I learned to copy, logout and in again and then paste.

There were a lot of ~10 minutes unresponding servers (entire site).

I haven't had anything like that, but there are times when the site gets extremely slow loading every page, and usually last about 20 minutes.

In Honolulu, can't get into to college confidential several times most days--often in the evening from Honolulu which would make it early morning in the East Coast. Just a few minutes ago this morning, also couldn't get in. Often when I try to post I can't & it loses my intended post. Like others, I try to copy everything before trying to post it so when the server comes back up I can finally post it (if I remember to do so). Really irritating since it happens so often--almost more often than not when I try posting.

Yep, frequently lately. Today from 7:30 ET to 9:30ish I got an error message repeatedly. Used my bookmark on AOL, then went off AOL and tried via IE. Could reach the CC main site a few times, but not the boards. Not the first time recently. There was another day 2 weeks ago I could not access for a few hours.

Frequently at busy times, evenings ET, server is slow, pages load slowly, and connection times out. This has been more noticable for the past 3-4 weeks.

Doesn't seem to stop me though

I've been getting a LOT of error messages this morning as well (over the past 3 hours), from 7-10 am HI time. Sure gets irritating!

7am+ Eastern..........no access. Slow later on and off. More of the old style CC. YIKES.

We had an outage this AM. We'll be switching to more powerful servers soon.

Ditto about problems yesterday morning and this morning, for a few hours (6-9am-ish, EST). Can access main website, but when I try to get the the discussion page, I get a gateway timeout error message. Ironically, the error msg. comes on immediately. No timeout issue noted.
