I keep getting logged off!

This is a new problem for me. I see there is a sticky from April 06 on this very topic. Before I mess with my cookies just want to make sure it is just me, and not a more widespread problem.

The page shows me logged on and then I type a reply (like I am doing now) but when I got to submit it, I get the "not logged on" message. ah well....

me too......all the time. I copy my post, log off,log back on, paste the post and move on. Really irritating.

try clearing your cookies for the site from your browser, clear your cache, make sure the "remember me" box is tic'd upon logging in also.

If you have a long post, type it into a text editor and then post it.

Long postings are not the issue, there is a cookie issue in your brower(s), either the cookie is corrupt, your blocking them or denying cookie sessions from the cc site.

Sounds like a cookie-blocking problem. If by any chance you are using an AOL browser, try IE or Firefox; we've had a few members report odd behavior with the AOL browser.

Until you figure out what the problem is, it would be a good idea to copy any long posts to your clipboard (highlight and click Crtl-C) before hitting submit just in case...
