Why don't cafe posts count?

Just curious. The fact that they don't really doesn't seem to serve a point.

It's probably because the majority of the posts there are word games or chain games and are easy to get free posts out of.

But why does it matter? It's not like having more posts benefits you in any way

While we provide the Cafe topics as a place for off-topic conversation, we think it makes sense not to count those OT posts.
