I'm not sure where to put this.

If we have a problem with something at this board, with whom do we bring it up? Something has been grating on me for awhile now and I think something should be done about it.

Might as well.

I have a personal problem with a seventh grader telling me that I'm lying about my stats, criticizing other peoples class selections, and telling me that he's going to be more successful than me.

Perhaps I should get over it, but this person is really annoying me.

Dude, go to your "my control panel" option and just put the kid on ignore. I know that one cannot do such things in real life. But, if a poster is annoying you by acting insulting towards yourself as well as your fellow posters, then just put them on ignore. It is easier to do that, than to allow the poster to carry on with annoying you.

Now, since you are speaking of a seventh grader, you might also desire to try this...

Do the "virtual" equivalent of speaking with the poster in person. Send them a brief pm stating what is wearing on your nerves and try to offer up an olive branch of some sort. Reckon there could be a way for you folks to sort out your differences? If, there is, then send a pm.

But, if the pm does not work (or if you personally do not feel comfortable with doing that), then put the kid on ignore.

This is all I know.

Yep. You can add a user to either your buddy or ignore list. It is no big deal. It is entirely up to you if you want to offer an olive branch to the kid, though.

Good evening to you.

(^_^)

Funny you should say something about a poster like that, as I know of one so very like that. Ignore him (or her) and don't let threads turn into a flame war.

Just use the "report post" link for posts that are discourteous, contain promotional links, etc.
