Previewing Threads?

Has anyone else not been able to preview threads (like going over the title and seeing the first few lines of the post) recently? It is starting to annoy me and I'm wondering if there is a way that I can change it.

I wish that this feature would come back, too -- I miss it. It just disappeared within the last week or so. I used to be able to hover over the title of the thread and see a line or two of the first post, but now nothing shows up. What happened, I wonder?

I thought it was just because I'm on a new computer... glad to see it's not just me.
I'd like it back too.

We had that on as an experiment for a few months. We turned it off to make our pages load more quickly. No big deal for broadband users, perhaps, but for those with slower connections it should make a difference. Your input is noted, though, and we'll consider turning that back on.

I hope you bring it back. It was a big time saver.

I'm not missing it to be honest.

I really have no idea how difficult or easy this would be to do, but I have an idea: Would it be possible to make it an optional function? Like recieving pop-ups when a new PM comes along, it could be something users could control with their settings. I too miss it.

P.S. I hadn't realized that there was in fact a different thread on this already, so excuse the post in both of them.
