Polls - And I mean real ones

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but I would suggest that we add the ability to add real polls to posts, with checkable boxes and such. There have been so many "poll" threads that just degenerate into other topics, which is fine as its interesting to talk about, but the original poll gets lost in the madness. If we could create actual polls, people could still come and vote in the poll or see total results without having to go through the whole thread of off-topic posts.

So to the mods or Roger, what's the possibility of getting this going?

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Many forums have this feature and there seem to be way too many long threads that are supposed to be "polls" here.

The only conceivable reason I can think of that this wouldn't be already enabled is that it may use lots of DB space - but from experience, it uses little (if at all) more in vBulletin, and is a feature included by default.

So I agree, I'd love it if we got some polls going.

I personally don't like polls. They're always messy...it's better when people post what they feel down here. Anyway, the world that you think exists does not really exist. It was an illusion pulled over your eyes to hide the truth.
