Change of Importance

Can someone please change the "Important:" threads in many different forums. They seem to be pretty outdated. For instance one "important" thread in college search and selection has the class of 2006 acceptances and another about where the class of 07 is applying. Aren't these threads kinda old? Why don't the important threads cater to the class of 2007 (with issues dealing with college selection such as "class of 2007 where are you going") and to the class of 2008?

I agree; the Important threads are useful in concept but become pointless when they are outdated.

If you see a thread in a forum that merits being featured, by all means go to "thread tools" and recommend it!

I think what Karen means is less that there should be more featured threads but rather that there should be less because some have no more relevence anymore.

Is there any we that we can recommend a thread be unstickied?

For featured threads, the idea is that they will scroll off into the library for that forum. To get rid of sticky threads, the ones pegged just above the regular threads: if it is no longer relevant, use the "report" link in the original post and include a brief note in the form as to why the thread should be unstickied. The mods and I will check it out.

Thanks.
