APPEAL: Add Gender to Poster Information

I originally posted this in the Community and Forum Issues subforum, but I don't think anyone looks there, so:

Thanks.

Like TheOneCurlyFry. I used to think she was a guy, but look at that! I was wrong. And I don't like being wrong.

The End.

PS> snoopy, you thought I was a guy, too? :'(.

I think people can tell what gender I am, but I do agree with you.

Mmm, I enjoy the androdgyny.

I actually think it's a really good idea though. Especially because, *for the most part*, CC users are above having usernames like "HotGurl69" or "RickNinePlus".

Discover your friends' true genders! Vote YES on Proposal 1!

Or is it too early for elections?

Making the info show up in the posts is a bit trickier and will require some special coding. What should the designator be? Pink or blue dots? Little Mars/Venus icons? Dress/pants icons like airport restrooms? Clean (!) suggestions?

I'm liking the idea of pink/blue dots... especially, if it say "Female/Male" when you scroll over them...

If possible, you could make male usernames show up in blue and female usernames show up in pink.
