Waits with posts, a petition (I hope)

If someone's doing a search, and then type something wrong, you gotta wait 60 seconds to rectify the problem. Is there a way to get around that or could we start a petition against this practice??

No way around. Too much searching would slow down the site for everyone.

CC pages are captured by Google, but new posts (e.g., those is this thread) don't show up right away.

People don't search CC that much, unless they really, really like stalking people.

I vote in favour.

Be happy you get to use this website for free and that there is a good search engine. Stop complaining about having to wait 60 seconds. Jesus.

The newest CC posts I could find at Google are from July 3, 2007, so Google may be about a week behind with its web crawling.

I would prefer a change to allow the editing of posts (especially the OP) so information can be edited into the OP instead of people having to search the entire thread to find things.
