Per forum history

Hi,

Lurking for a while, first post...

Some forums that use vbulletin maintain a history per forum. This means if I check frequently in the parent forum but infrequently in the financial aid forum the last read thread in the financial aid forum is correctly maintained. I.E. visiting one forum doesn't mark another read. Would that be possible here?

Thanks for everything. Just asking.

Dave

This site uses cookies to mark threads read or not, reading one thread will not mark another thread as read.

What I observe is that if I am in any forum for a period of time, say 30 minutes, all threads in all forums are marked read. Do I have something misconfigured?

Typically, anytime my last visited time is updated, everything is marked read. For example, when I logged in today, it said my last visited time in yesterday at 5:10 P.M. Everything before 5:10 yesterday is marked read. Even those forums that I did not have time to visit yesterday are marked read.

For reference, I am using Firefox.

Yes, I see, but I have not really logged off. If I am reading a long discussion, the site seems to think I have logged off and back on.
