That is not a fair remark- the moderators and owners of this site are very responsive. It is, however, not easy to have a user name changed. It opens up a lot of cans of worms.

Is there any way to shut down your college confidential username? If not, is there at least a way you can go back and delete or at least edit your post (original poster) from an old thread?
