What happened to the "search" feature?

I'm trying to find a couple of old posts (which I originally posted), and I'm getting the message "searching has been disabled" (or something like that) every time I click on the "find more posts by ______" button. I also don't see a general keyword search anywhere. Can anyone please tell me what's going on?

Take a look at the notice near the top of the Community & Forum Issues board -- it's a high-traffic issue, apparently.
