How do you keep up without CC marking unread posts read?

Hi,

I'm an infrequent poster, but I'm a frequent reader. I like to read the parents forum and parents cafe among others. However, these forums are quite busy. If it takes me a while to get through one of these forums, the other forum will automatically marked read. Is there any way to configure around this or disable the automatic mark all read?

Ideally, I could read one forum on Sunday, then the next on Monday. Is there any way to achieve this? I read some other phpBB forums and some mark all forums read automatically and some mark only the threads that I actually read.

I asked a similar question earlier, but perhaps I didn't explain it well. Perhaps I'm still not explaining it well.

Any ideas?
