Mods?

I'm not sure of how stringent the forum staff is but we have an unacceptable amount of threads in the 'College Admissions' forum that either don't belong, can be merged, or don't need to exist.

I see so many, "I got into University X!". That's great for that person, but is it necessary for a whole topic to be created just to commemorate one person's gain? Aren't the numerous, "where did you get in?" and "celebration" topics just for that? It irks me when someone wastes forum space just to post trivial matters.

I'm also sick of the numerous 'chances' threads I see in there that should belong in its respective forum. And there's always so many people asking the same question over and over again. Can we possibly make a forum FAQ?

Ok, that's all I have to rant for now.

Report problem posts to the moderation team through the "report problem post" link that appears on every post. It is definitely helpful to report threads that aren't in the proper forum.

It certainly is helpful, but what I'm more concerned about is the lack of enforcement of the rules. I'm not saying that anyone is lazy here, but a lot of posters tend to post with haste, not seeing if there is another board they can post in.

We see it too, Sher, but with as many new members joining each day it's tough to educate everyone.
