"From" line in e-mail notifications

Today, I noticed something interesting. On some of the e-mail notifications I've gotten, the "From" line reads:

added by portage for apache

instead of the usual "College Discussion". But it's not on all of the notifications.

Is there a reason for that? Does it mean anything?

yup-- I am getting a bunch of emails to my spam folder from "apache5@talk.collegeconfidential.com" Glad to hear it isn't just me.... again....
