Please Explain This Quote When I Search "Latest Posts"

"This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between searches. Please try again in 78 seconds."

Huh??

B.U.M.P.

Maybe I should have titled this, "Lincoln's Doctor's Dog."

VeryHappy, I certainly can't explain it, but I get a good laugh every time I get a similar message (with utterly inexplicable variations in the times, too - 83 seconds, 49, 81 etc. etc.).

Re your proposed thread title, yes - or just to put a contemporary spin on it, Tuesdays with Lincoln's Doctor's Dog.

My guess is that someone changed the time required between searches to 120(?) seconds but didn't change the number 30 in the message.

I got one that said that I had to wait 120 seconds before doing another search, so try again in 178 seconds. Then I hit send again a second later and it sent.
