Search frequency times

I keep getting random times above 30 seconds when I try to preform a search that's 30 seconds or less after my previous search. This has been a chronic problem, but I have nothing to do now, so I figured I would report it. For example:

This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between searches. Please try again in 196 seconds.

I've tried it on another connection and computer as well, and get the same problem. Just thought you should be aware of the problem (if you don't already know).

Yup, same. The highest I've gotten is 133 seconds. It's gotten insane.

For a while there, there was no time limit--why'd it stop? I liked not having to wait 30 seconds / minute / indefinite and random time to search again.
