the clock is fast

The cc clock is a couple minutes faster than official time. I don't know if you can do anything about it, but I figured you should know.

Is this why replies to posts sometimes appear before the initial post?

Could be a slight mismatch between servers, we'll check it out.

why does the first post sometimes switch places with the second post?

Is this a glitch, or what? It seems to happen fairly frequently.

here is an example

We have multiple servers handling our traffic, and it seems there was a small time mismatch that became evident if posts were made in quick succession and if the right combination of servers happened to be used.

We have synched up the times and set them to check the time against a standard periodically.

The out-of-order and duplicate posting issue should be resolved - if you see it again after this post, put a link to the thread in here. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks, Roger.

So has everyone got that? If any future thread shows a mistake in posting order, put a link to that thread here in this thread.
