A 'Life After College' Section

So there's a been a "High School Life" section and of course a "Parents" section for so long now, that I wanted to suggest the introduction of a "Life After College" section to the forum. It just seems to be a natural way to maintain the active membership of members who participated on the forum in high school and through college, and who have now graduated. They have an important place on this forum as well, and make a strong contribution in advising younger members. I think it would be wonderful if a new section could reflect the voice of this group, so that they have a place of their own to share ideas. Thanks.

We do have a Careers section... do you think we have enough members who want to talk about other post-graduation stuff?

Hi there Roger- Yeah I believe there are enough members in this category, but I think that since they don't have a central location on the board to concentrate themselves in, a lot of them are on their alma mater board and various other sections that may be perhaps not as relevant to warrant their participation in those threads, so that might account for why they don't have a very observable presence on the board. The Careers and Graduate School forums have a bit of a different focus, so perhaps just adding a cafe-style section (much like Parent's Cafe) that could encompass various random discussion topics. Plus, I would think that even members who didn't fit into the post-graduate category would be interested in and could benefit from the kind of conversations that would pop up in this section, so it wouldn't have to be restricted to this group either. Just a suggestion! It would be very cool.
