I CANNOT figure out what these terms mean. Sorry to start a topic, but it's driving me nuts.

dear daughter.

there is a thread somewhere (i think in the parents forum) with all of the abbreviations.
dh = dear husband
and dw = dear wife

Because simply "daughter"/"son" totally wouldn't work.

actually, lots of people do simply abbreviate daughter and son as D and S
