Forum for returning (older) students.

It would be great to have a forum dedicated to the unique challenges of older people who are returning to college, or going for the first time, but not right from High School.
Our finances and financial aid issues tend to be different, our lifestyles tend to be different, and even admissions can be different.
It would be beneficial for these people to have a cozy little room dedicated towards our situation.

Thanks!

I agree. I just found this website today. I'm 39 years old and will be starting college for the 1st time next week. I'm nervous and excited at the same time!

Just joined after I saw a recent posting for new forum - really really interested if such a deal should arise.
Let me know

I agree! Older students do face challenges that are unique, and sometimes unfair, and it would be nice to have a spot where we could discuss our concerns, ideas, goals, tips and any other issues that we have; but, even though college students aged 25 to 65 represent a nice chunk of the collegiate student demographics, the truth is that there is no money to be made (really?) in promoting colleges to older students as most older students have a better idea of what they want out of the college experience, what to major in, and a general idea overall of expectations. So, like I said, trying to sell an Ivy to thirty-six year old is kind of pointless.
