Any violations of TOS can result in one's temporarily or permanently losing their posting privileges. One does not get to test the limits by seeing how many infractions one can wrack up before losing posting privileges. Consequently, if one gets any warning or infraction, take that as a serious admonition to follow TOS to continue being able to post on CC. Virtually all moderators volunteer here to keep CC a pleasant, respected place for people to get information about higher education. They do not have the time to repeatedly delete and edit posts by members who repeatedly ignore the rules.
