Multiple Google search function error messages

I have used the Google search function for months without incident until the CC site was recently updated. Now, without fail, every time I attempt to search with Google I receive an error message. I have tried both Safari and Firefox plus have re-logged in several times and am still not successful.

Although, I rarely post, I certainly value CC as a great resource. I have vainly tried to poke around the site to see if others are also having this issue. Is it a mac thing or....?

I would greatly appreciate any insights.

Thank you to whomever moved this to the right forum. Somehow, I never knew there was a place for 'issues' threads....perhaps I haven't scrolled down far enough on the main page. I will check out other threads to find the answer to my concern.....hopefully there will be some insights somewhere.

Since no other solutions seem to be forthcoming, I have found a Google search work-around. I now leave CC and go to the Google website's advanced search engine; I plug in my request parameters and direct it to only search the collegeconfidential.com domain.

It adds a few steps but gets me the information I am seeking. I still have hope that the direct CC Google search will work for me again someday without getting error messages.
