Same class different amount of units.

I took a class at Cuesta College that was worth 5 units and recieved a D at the end of the semester. I took the same class at D.V.C and recieved a C, but the class is only worth 4 units at D.V.C.. I was wondering after filling out the proper forms and showing Cuesta that I repeated the course at D.V.C. and passed, how is this going to affect my G.P.A.? Please help.
