New CC Subform to discuss issues facing higher education?

I'm posting in here because this seems to be the most general board that's not off topic on CC.

Should there be a new subforum which addresses contemporary issues with facing higher education? I think many parents, and current students who probably stop posting soon after their search would be attracted to such a forum where we could have vibrant discussions about major issues facing colleges and universities.

Reading Inside Higher Ed, Peer Review, and The Chronicle is just not cutting it for me-- I'm dying for some interaction and to read other's thoughts on these issues and it seems a natural fit for community which sees so many of its members stay for a year or two and then leave-- perhaps during the moments they have the most value to add to this conversation.

So what are your thoughts? Would anyone else be interested in this kind of forum? Where do we get administrators' attention to push for this kind of thing?
