Server Time Out of sync?

I posted an update using the text from the post following my #668, and it was posted above and with an earlier posting time than the post following my post.

I tried it again, and same thing happened. My computer clock is now at 7:50 pm EST, and the time in my (forum) control panel is reading 6:50pm (GMT-4)

Is this an issue having to do with the very recent server maintenance message of about an hour's plus duration?
