"Recommend this thread"?

What did I just do??

I clicked on "recommend this thread" thinking that would enable me to send the link to my H. I wrote a message, but it didn't give me an option to enter his email address. Where did my message go?? I mentioned my D by first name so I'd like to kill the message if possible

Dear PRJ,

The "Recommend this Thread" feature allows you to recommend a thread to the moderators for posting in our Featured Discussions area. Only moderators and administrators are able to view such items, but I'll track it down and remove it as requested.

If you want to share a post with a friend you can use the "Email this Page" option in the "Thread Tools" menu.

We need to have an explanation on that page explaining what the "recommend thread" function is for. You had no way of knowing that it was a means of recommending quality threads to be featured on the main forum page. Sorry for the confusion...
