| Can One Still Browse College Visits?
When I click onto browse, only a few more prominent colleges come up in a list. How can one find the other school visit reviews?

Hello northeastmom...
When you click on the "Browse Reports" link you should see an option to search by letter of the alphabet. Clicking on any letter will show you a list of schools for which there are visit reports (schools with no visit reports will not appear). Below the alphabetical search option is an area for "Popular Colleges", which is included to provide quick access to the schools that are most commonly viewed.
You can also locate schools by using the "Search" function, which offers multiple methods to find the school you are looking for.
I hope this helps!

Thanks Lenitus. Hmmm, I see the Popular College list, and above that all I have is a long rectangular yellow box (CC style as opposed to the fresh style). Above that are blue shadowed people and the copyright. I do not see the alphabet that I have been able to click in the past. I wonder if I am missing something, a computer glitch on my end, or what.

That is interesting. Which browser are you using? Just to make sure we're literally on the same page, I'm referring to this particular page: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/...se_letter.html
I'm viewing it in Firefox 3 and can see the alphabetical search option within that yellow rectangular box.

Lenitus, yes, we are looking at the same page. The yellow box that I am looking at is blank. I am using AOL, and I tried internet explorer. The results are the same. I am on AOL right now. When I click your link the yellow box is still blank.

Sorry for the inconvenience. It appears this is an issue on IE only, as Firefox correctly displays it. I was informed that this issue has already been brought to the attention of our IT guys, and that they are taking a look at it. In the meantime, are you able to use the Search function to find schools?

Unfortunately the search function on the left side of the college visit page is also not working. I put in Ohio State and Alfred U came up and the other schools followed in alphabetical order. Then I put in Rhode Island U and American U came up first with other schools following in alphabetical order. When you click next, hoping to get, for example, to Flagler College, the alphabetical pages do not seem to come up in order. The next page, for example, could be "S", with Smith College appearing first.
Editing to let you know that I just searched for Smith College. The As came up, with Agnes Scott being first this time. I was then able to click pages in order for the 15 pages. Hope this helps. LOL, you would want to be really motivated to read about Union College to click through all of the pages to get there! I got tired after I got to the Cs.

Wow...the deeper we dig the more we find Sorry for the inconvenience with this. I'll have to see if the text search issue is also a known problem with our tech department.
Are you at least able to go to 'Search' and then use the 'Search College' drop-down menu?

Oh jeez, I never realized that the drop down menu existed! I always just hit the quick alphabet listing and clicked. I did not even notice the drop down menu, til you pointed out! Well, that makes it a whole lot simpler! Thank you for pointing this feature out to me.

I'm glad we have multiple methods for searching At least you have some way of finding what you are looking for, but we need to get those other search pathways fixed.
Thanks again for the input on this!
