Probelms With The Search Function

Okay, this part of the forum really doesn't work for me. I don't know why. I finally gave up on using it when I got this message in my last search:

This forum requires that you wait 15 seconds between searches. Please try again in 16 seconds.

..... just to give you an idea of how well it has been working for me. Everything else works fine, and I don't understand why this doesn't work, also.

Anything I can do to solve this?
