3 letter word search?

Any luck on fixing the problem with 3-letter word searches, such as for WPI? The CC search, which worked for a few weeks, now comes back with the message that no results were found.

(Please, do not suggest google search - that only results in thread titles, not individual posts)

The fix for this issue requires downtime for the forum which cannot be scheduled without considering and weighing the risk vs benefit for such an outage. This is especially true when we have had other recent maintenance outages due to the move of the forum from Houston to Santa Clara.

We work very hard to minimize the downtime experienced by our users and try to schedule as many simultaneous maintenance activities as possible during a 2 hour maintenance window. Since it was not possible to complete both this maintenance activity along with the other database maintenance recently performed, we are forced to schedule this at a later date.

As soon as this maintenance activity is scheduled, we will update the forum users with the information.

We will be performing the required maintenance on the forum to resolve this issue early this week. The forum will not be down during this maintenance but it may be a bit slow due to the large number of posts which have to be examined in order to resolve the issue. Thanks for your patience.
