single sex floors

My daughter is in the process of filling out the housing form and she is trying to decide whether to request a coed or an all girls floor. I thought that she may be more comfortable on a floor where the bathrooms are not coed but she is worried that a single sex floor may not be as fun as a coed floor. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the single sex floor is less social than the coed floors. My daughter is an athlete and very social but not a drinker. Would she be better off on a coed floor or does it not really matter?
