Are the ED applications reviewed with a tougher standard?

I was deferred from ED, and will be put in to the regular decision pool. :\ Anyway, are the ED apps reviewed with a higher standard? I believe they accept around 100 for ED, and was wondering if the standard is relative amongst other applicants.
