PS: Whatever you do, spell 'principal' correctly! It's not 'principle trumpet;' it's 'principal trumpet.' This may sound irrelevant and picky, and I realize you're writing an informal email--but believe me, this sort of thing is deal breaker for highly competitive colleges. "Principle' won't come up in spellcheck, either. Always proof your college submissions carefully--
