Cornell AEM

What are my chances of getting into the AEM program with regular decision?

Stats:
SAT: 770 Writing, 750 Math, 650 CR
SAT IIs: 800 Chinese, 760 US History, 730 World History, Will be taking Math II in December
GPA: We don't use the 4.0 scale...I have about a 94.8 average.
Rank: 89/850 - Top 11%

Subjective:

Extracurriculars: FBLA - I was a National President's Assistant, advised the national president on certain isses. Won numerous business awards. I also have many other business-related extracurriculars.

Essays: Amazing essays. My english teacher said they were the best she had ever read

Teacher Recs: One amazing. One ok.

Counselor Rec: Great, tho not amazing

Hook (if any): I attended Cornell's summer business program and earned a 4.0. The professor also wrote a recommendation for me and called me the best in the program.

Location/Person:

School Type: Public
Ethnicity: Asian (Chinese)
Gender: Male

Special situations: I did terribly in my freshman year, with averages in the 70s. But ever since my sophomore yr, Ive been earning 99s. If not for freshman yr, I would have been top 2-3%

you have a good chance for ED, and decent chance for RD. But i am not sure how many kids AEM will take from ED, so i can't say ur chance for RD.

Rogue, I think u have a great chance, especially since Cornell considers the fact that u attended their business program and earned a 4.0. Was ur professor david taylor? cals looks at fit very heavily and since the professor called u the best, i think u have an edge over other applicants. as cornellhopeful11 said, FBLA will help u alot, especially that national position.
