maybered12 New Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Posts: 5	specific examples needed? i've been working on my common app essay for cornell and have been getting it checked here and there...i recently got comments on maybe adding specific examples to each point i make. that sounds like a good idea, but at the same time i feel like i'd be writing a formal english/lit paper rather than an admissions essay. plus, i feel like adding examples might be "beating around the bush" and i might lose the point im making in the essay. any feedback or thoughts on this?
