UCSD's ranking for its economics program is pretty up there and i have read that it is better than Cornell's. But which college would you pick for an econ major for your undergraduate years?

Just to clarify, I got to a community college in California, and to have guaranteed acceptance into UCSD, all you need is a 3.0. Sometimes less... I feel the caliber of schools and students would be just blatantly absurd to compare
