Question about intellectual interests essay

For the first supplementary essay, is it okay to talk about only one intellectual interest, or do you have to talk about at least two? Yeah, I understand this is probably a stupid question, but this whole process is making me nervous, so I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I talked about my interest in politics so ya it's fine just to talk about one or more it's up to you.

i talked about two interests, but i believe its okay to focus on one. i mean, they only allocate 250 words so you can't talk much, but its okay to go over the limit by a little bit.

I talked about my interests in film and psychology
As for length, the first essay was around 250 words, and the second was around 300

*with the second part of the academic interest essay (where you describe how Cornell would help you to pursue them further, or something along those lines) I made sure to do some research into what exactly Cornell had to offer in each of the areas I focused on, and made sure to mention certain aspects of Cornell's programs that I found appealing.*
