I also believe that no one appreciates being called a "retarded fool."

What "crap" has he done? I'm sure he's not the only one from India with scholarships and that attends private school.

thank you very much wrxstiav.
The point is for discussion - if you can't handle yourself with the proper decorum, stay away rather than besmirch the forum and irritate other people.
also, please respond to the arguments. You can't run your mouth if you're unwilling to get as you so like to give.
its one thing to be proud of your achievements, another to be arrogant, and yet another to be rude.

| Hold tight
You've got the music in you
Don't let go
You've got the music in you
One dance left
This world is gonna pull through
Don't give up
You've got a reason to live
Can't forget you only get what you give
sorry, it just reminded me of the song

He's at at #1 school because his daddy is rich...thats how it works in India..trust me my parents have told me the stories (I'm Indian). Okay, great you have accomplishments ASP and got into Cornell, congrats.
I hope you leave your ego back in India because I can see already that you'll have trouble transitioning to the American lifestyle. When people are arrogant, they deserve a good verbal bashing. There is no reason to be condescending on a FORUM..of all places. Seriously, grow up. If you bring that ego to Cornell, or anywhere here...you'll seriously be an outcast, make no friends, and be trying to figure out what people are saying because you are too stuck up with yourself. So chillout...relax...no one here is trying to bash others out. From your posts, it seems like you seriously need to relax. You get excited way too quickly over the smallest things. You can't take sarcasm and always counter everything with a corny joke.

also, can I clarify this? ED is supposed to be binding worldwode, is it not? Thats what the PEnn woman told us, and what I have heard and believe.
even if Ed is non-bnding internatinally, arjun, there is a certain code of ethics, perhaps you may not be aware of. signing an ED declaration should not be used just to improve your chances of acceptance. After you've been accepted ED, you shouldn't be applying to IIT.
thank you parikhs.. did you see the reply to your original question abt Indian youths? haha...

Is he going to be here on an H1 visa? I don't know. BUT, I thought Arjun said that he was going into the computer field? Anyone confirm this? Let me tell you something, good luck on finding a job. I've heard a bunch of Indians are turning back because there are no more jobs.
