How to use the "Wish List" function?

My sister is going to Cornell in the fall and she isn't quite sure how to utilize the wish list function in her online student center.

I go to a UC and we have a pre-enrollment shopping cart, and I figured there would be something similar for Cornell, but in the time I had to look at her page I did not see an equivalent function other than this "wish list" which she could not use (it told her she had to wait until her enrollment time).

I thought this was strange because it does not make sense to have to wait until your allotted enrollment time to utilize a wish list/ shopping cart function.

Does anyone know how this system works for Cornell?

Thanks in advance.

I don't believe the "Wish List" function within Student Center works - it's been around for at least a couple years, but it doesn't have functionality yet. Some alternatives for scheduling include using Schedulizer (Cornell University - Schedulizer) OR the "Favorites" function in the course catalog (Cornell University - Acalog ACMS?) along with the Course and Time Roster (Cornell University Registrar: Course and Time Roster Fall 2012).

However, while those will help plan out the classes you take, they don't show availability, in which case you may need to check the classes in Student Center and make sure they're not full! (I know this may sound like a lot, but it's not too bad and you get used to it pretty quickly!)
