Chances for Cornell?

I'm a white female high school junior from Long Island, New York.
I attend a large, public school that's fairly competitive. I have taken the most rigorous courses my school has to offer.
I would apply early decision to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences as an Animal Science major (I want to be a vet and hopefully attend Cornell's vet school as well).

GPA: 3.9 unweighted, weighted is a 4.45

Ranking: School doesn't have exact ranks, but I'm in the top 10%

Honors: 8th grade(took high school courses): Earth Science, Algebra 1
9th grade: English, Biology, Geometry, Global History 1, Italian
10th grade: English, Chemistry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Global History 2, Italian
11th grade: Italian, Pre-Calculus

APs: 11th grade: US History, English Language, Physics B
12th grade: Biology, Calculus AB, English Lit, Gov

ACT: 33 (should i take again?)

SAT IIs: 10th grade: Chemistry (730)
11th grade: US History (670), Math II (710)

ECs: -Junior Varsity Field Hockey (9-10) *captain 10th grade
-Varsity Field Hockey (11-12) *coach told me I will be captain in 12th. All-Conference in 11th grade, HOPEFULLY will get All-County in 12th
-Varsity Winter Track (9-12). All-Conference in 11th grade
-Varsity Spring Track (9-12)
-I have been riding horses for 8 years competitively. I have already talked to Cornell Equestrian team's coach and will most likely be a part of the team if I get accepted.
-National Honor Society, Science Honor Society, Italian Honor Society(secretary)
-Athletes Helping Athletes program (athletes who maintain a 85+ average and are on 2 varsity sports). We visit elementary schools and talk to the kids about bullying, sportsmanship, drugs/alcohol, etc. (10-12)
-Pre-Med Club (9-12)
-Scholar Athlete Award (2 varsity sports and maintain a 90 average) every year
-Member of the orchestra, all-district in 11th grade for the violin
-Volunteer at Horseability, a horseback riding center for disabled kids, for 5 years
-Work at my barn's summer camp, get paid weekly
-Also just got a job at a local library
-Girl Scouts Silver Award in 10th grade (100 hours of community service)

Essay: Counselor and English teacher both love it, about why I want to be a vet after witnessing a sick horse and how he was treated and cared for.

Please be honest, do I have a chance for Cornell? And if not, do you have any other recommendations for schools with good biology programs that will give me a good basis for getting into vet school in the future? Thanks!

I'm a Long Islander as well

As far as your ACT score goes, it's not necessary for you to take it again. A 33 puts you above most applicants and getting slightly higher wouldn't significantly raise your chances.

I'm no expert but it looks like you would be a competitive applicant wherever you apply.

Looks like you have a solid shot early decision. It's not really worth it to retake. Work very hard on your essays!

Thank you! I'm happy with my ACT score, which is much better than my 1340 CR/M score on the SAT.

Overall a very solid application. Quite honestly, if you don't get in it'd probably come down to the essay.

I'd say a great shot for ED.
