When and how do you pay for meal plans and housing?

Simple question. Already signed up for them, just want to pay for them.

I believe in Aug. You can check your bursar bill online and also pay online. Going forward, you could charge various things on your acct and you'll be billed for it (sports tickets, extra meals, printing, gym classes). My older daughter was a master of that. Every month something showed up.

But how do you pay online? Sorry, dumb question, I'm not used to paying online with anything other than a credit card.

Here is link to info on how to pay bill; meal plans, housing and tuition will all show up on the bill:
Cornell University: Paying Your Bill

It explains the several options available:
Paying Your Bill
The Office of the Bursar offers several payment options: the monthly Cornell Installment Plan, electronic payments via Net.Pay, and wire transfers. We accept check payments by mail, and check or cash payments in person. Other payment options include third-party billing (for sponsored students) and college savings plans.

I have found the electronic payment via Net.Pay the best option for me. There is a one-time setup with bank information (account number, routing number). I wait until the funds are due (I am billed electronically) and then I make the transfer myself. Very simple!
