Transferring to Cornell, work experience and extracurricular activity

Hey guys,
I started my summer break two weeks ago and I'm in a dilemma. I was offered to work at a bubble tea store full time during the summer but i was also offered an unpaid internship at a Workforce Development center as an assistant and it is basically a workforce development center aim to reduce unemployment and help people develop skills for career growth and etc. Since I want to transfer to Cornell CAS to study ECONOMICS, I doubt interning at this development center is relevant to the economic field... or is it? My question is, if you had to choose between the two options, which would you say would be more beneficial as an extracurricular activity or are they equally as important? Although working at a bubble tea store or any fast food chain stores are still consider working experience, i feel that working at those places are insignificant in helping me transfer to Cornell (correct me if im wrong). I want to know you guys's opinion on this matter. Also, i applied for internship at JP morgan chase but i got denied. As of right now, those are the only 2 options i have for the summer. Any help would be appreciated.

Definitely the unpaid internship, unemployment and economics are always related
