Questions regarding west campus

I'm currently placed in a regular double (not suite) in the hans bethe house, and I was wondering if i could get some information regarding its living conditions!

how many people share the bathroom for those who aren't placed in a suite? are they generally clean/comfortable?

how big are the double rooms? (i'm scared of overpacking)

how are the dining halls?

etc... other information regarding any of the houses in west campus will be greatly appreciated! (i would like to know more about the regular rooms, and not suites if possible!)

pictures would be great also

I honestly thought all the rooms in Bethe were part of a suite. Are you sure you aren't in one of the other dorms that's considered part of Bethe? For example, I think like Baker Tower is considered part of Bethe House, even though it's a different building.

raid becker's pantry, left door's always unlocked. although all they normally have is this foul cereal (at least it looks like cereal) and a big jar of jam. nothing good but if you play your cards right you might get some tortilla chips once in a while

Doubles are pretty big, but then again "big" is a relative term.
I answered your other questions on the other thread. Bethe's dining hall food is great on certain days. You should check out the menus and try to figure out which dining hall has good food on which day.

Baker Tower is part of Alice Cook, not Hans Bethe. The only gothic building that is part of Hans Bethe is McFaddin, but I think we established that the OP is in the actual structure of Hans Bethe House, and there are non-suite rooms there.

the food is wonderful on West Campus and the only people who don't love it are people who make cuisine a serious hobby (whom I'd affectionately call food snobs) or just people who love to complain. I for example ate vegetarian for the years I lived on West and it was mindlessly easy to find good meals.

haha thank you for all the responses!

Yes, I'm sure that i'm in a regular room. I even called them to make sure...
I was really looking forward to living in a suite environment, so i was pretty disappointed, but i'm still very thankful that I got a room in the west campus!

i'm just scared about using the communal bathrooms... haha
