Do I have a chance for ED?

I feel really embarrassed to post here because everyone else that posts here has a 4.0 GPA and 2400 SAT scores and I don't. Well, here it goes.

Freshman year, was absolutely terrible. I had some personal problems and other things going on so that year my GPA was 2.6 Unweighted and 3.2, with all honor classes. I know this is absolutely terrible, and I have no one to blame but myself.
However, i made a pact to myself to do better and school. From Freshmen year on, i've taken a bunch of AP classes, and brought my GPA to around 3.4 unweighted and 4.0 weighted, which i understand is still extremely low.

On the SAT's i scored a total of 2010
On the SAT 2's for Math, i got a 700 and Chemistry i got a 720

For my extracurriculars, I was in key club, chess club, electronics club, debate team, french club (president), international students organization (treasurer), French Honor Society, and National Honor Society. I also was on the Golf team and did tennis for a year.
I've also volunteered about 100 hours at a library and 100 hours at a local hospital.

What do you guys think? Do i stand a chance? Any advice would be great, Thanks again

Very few people have that kind of absolutely perfect credentials, and that kind of credential alone doesn't get you into top tier colleges.

This is fine as long as you ended up on the top 10% of the class. If you aren't in the top 10% and you aren't significantly hooked, sorry but you have very little chance right off the bat because 94% of Cornell's admits are within the top 10% of their classes.

A low aggregate score is okay for Cornell if your writing section is by far your lowest score, because Cornell doesn't look at that.

Your ECs aren't too outstanding. They're "okay".

All in all, Cornell will be a very high reach for you but if you actually ended up within the top 10% of your class, you will have a small shot at ED that might be worth giving a shot for (Significant reach). Otherwise, work hard in college and try to transfer in later if you still want to go to Cornell.

Well, to properly chance you I think knowing the following is important:

Which school? (College of engineering, Hotel Administration, etc?)

If College of Engineering, are you female by any chance?

And race.

Regardless, you have a shot no matter what.. Your essays can are really important!!
