So I'm assigning my teacher recommendations on my common app account, and it says that Cornell requires 2 MORE recommendations, and tells me to chose two teachers from the total teacher recommendation pool.

what i am confused about is that aren't we supposed to have 2 recs on the common app anyway?? with cornell, do I need 4 different teacher recommendations?

I don't think you need 4 recommendations. I think it's just asking you which 2 of however many you have on your common app account you want to send to Cornell. I believe you can send different recs to each school.
