Cornell Philosophy Program

Hey CC, a family friend of mine had recommended that I look into applying to transfer to Cornell based off of their positive experience there. Since my interests are in philosophy and political science (my majors at the moment), does anyone have insight or experience into Cornell's departments for these? Thanks!

I know for political science they have a really cool program called Cornell in Washington, where you take courses in DC for a semester and get an internship...sort of like study abroad. looked really interesting. I think their philosophy program is pretty strong too...but challenging!!
