Actually, that 8-2 sleep schedule was what I followed for about 3 weeks last semester. It really helped me get work done since no one was awake past 4am (usually).

that's 12 noon? heheh

OK here's another daily schedule, this time for today, thursday 1/26:

10:15: Wake up, shower, hygine stuff, dress, email, pack books, scarf milk and ricecakes in my dorm room.

11:15: Physics section

12:05PM: Pick up cash at an ATM

12:10: Ice skate at Lynah Rink (recreation/exercise)

1:00 Walk down "the slope" aka Libe Slope to my fraternity, get a wrap, soup, salad and orange juice for lunch in the kitchen.

2:00: My shift starts as a computer lab monitor in Uris Library. I am working until 8:00 today. I will use the time to do the remainder of the week's homework for my Tonal Theory, Physics, Calculus, and Spanish classes, which all meet tomorrow. I am very tired so I will probably sleep a little. (This is right now, btw)

8:00: I will go down to my fraternity again for a "late plate" dinner. I will miss the sit down dinner because of work today, but the chef has been instructed to make a plate for me to heat up. The chef is awesome! She is so cool. yeah...

9:00 I will walk back to north campus, relax in the dorm for maybe 30 minutes, and then set in on any remaining work I have for Friday.

12AM-2: I will possibly get some food, and then go to bed somewhere in this time frame.

and the houses are beautiful, for the record:

I don't work while i'm at cornell.... lol. It takes away time from my studies, but I work during the winter and the summer by interning, which pays a lot more than the 7-9 dollars an hour campus jobs pay.

Our house has a sit down dinner at 7 every night with waitressing and stuff. The dining room doors close and you can't enter late unless you go through the kitchen. So yeah...if i get there at 8:15 i'm pretty late.

here's my typical day, ilr student:

7:00 wake up. snooze.
8:00 wake up for real. shower, get dressed, pack books.
9:00 have a small breakfast in the room, check email, waste time on CC
10:00 grab coffee at Olin Cafe
10:10 first class, ILRCB201 labor and employment law
11:00 second class, meditation in indian culture
12:05 meet up with my girlfriend for a few before her 12:20 class
12:21 go out to lunch, hang out for a little with friends
1:25 final class of the day, organizational behavior
2:15 class is over, done for the day
2:16 library time. This is where the workload gets worked
4:3-5 go from library to dining hall with girlfriend for dinner
6:00 dinners over, back to work
8:00 go home, relax a little until labor law homework
9 til usually 11 is labor law homework with a group of friends. This class is killer.
11:00 til 1:00 hang out, relax, email, CC, bed.
