Chance me for HumEc!

US citizen living in South Korea (Korean Ethnicity)
Applied for Early Decision

Can you please chance me for Human Biology, Health, and Society major at the College of Human Ecology

I am from a tiny private school (class size is 18) that does offer AP or honors classes

SAT I (breakdown): 2250 single sitting (R:740 M:790 W:720)
SAT II: 800 Math II, 800 Chem, 760 Physics
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 4.0
AP/IB: None

ECs: Hundreds of volunteer hours of at ER, pharmacy, and mobile clinic of local hospital
Official Interpreter between Korean and English at my school
President/Vice-president of Math, Business, and Spanish Clubs (9,10,11,12)
President of school prefects (11,12), Class president (9,10)
Hardly any awards/honors because school gives out very few awards

Essays: I think they are good
Teacher Recs: Great
Counselor Evaluation: Did not see

Will not having APs like most applicants hurt my chances?

Thank you!

I don't think that not taking any AP courses will hurt your chances...though I can't say for sure since I did take them in high school..

But your ECs look great and your SATs are better than what mine were when I applied

If your essays and recommendations are great then I think you have a great chance of getting in (I'm currently a junior in HumEc)

If your school does not offer AP / IB classes it will not be held against you. As long as your GC marked "most rigorus courses" box on the common app. you'll be OK

Yes, csdad, my counselor told me that she checked the "most demanding" box on the common app!
