    You can't appeal a college's decision.

yes you can but i don't think you can do it at cornell

Ok. I had tried to appeal, and already sent in a letter about my latest awards and tremendous passion. But what I got from them was ".... Sorry, we don't have an appeal process. If you truly set your mind on Cornell, I'd be happy to discuss with you about the transfer opton later on......"

So I would advise you giving up this thought. Everything is set; you can't change it.

Throw in the towel. Decide on a college that you've been accepted to, and make the most of it.

oh, really? But I asked the admission counselor by email, and she told me that. Maybe she lied? Anyway, I have sent in the letter, and it never hurts to try.

even when you appeal, im pretty sure ur not allowed to update a school with new information, but must prove to them there was a mistake (wrong transcript sent or somthign along those lines) or that they missed information AT THE TIME YOU SUBMITTED UR APP. i could be wrong thou

no, that's not all an appeal is. it is u make`a push or statement why u should be accepted in a formal letter. u could be accepted after all the watlisters r accepted if there is space
